Kevin "Squishy Man" Barber (Comedy Counselor) is a National Touring Comedian, from Topeka, Kansas.
He received his Bachelor’s Degree from Washburn and received his Masters Degree from the University of
Kansas (KU). Kevin has been a Licensed Psychotherapist for over 15 years.
Squishy has had a humble beginning... He is one of eight children.
He is the son of an Irish/German Mother and an African/American Father.
Squishy's grandfather was a "Knight of the KKK" and his dad was a member
of the "Black Panther." Funny is in his genes/jeans...!
His Performance is rated PG-17 with some Adult content. Mature topics but not offensive.

Recently, Squishy landed his first movie.. called... "Crossing the Lines: Multiracial Comedians in the
Entertainment Industry."
2007, in Chicago, Kevin hosted the 40th Anniversary of the
Loving vs. Virginia (1967, Supreme Court Case). This court case
allowed People of different races to legally marry. “It was an honor
for me to Host such an event. Especially considering that my mother &
father couldn’t get married in St. Louis, MO in 1967.”
Squishy’s career has exploded since hosting this monumental event.
He recently filmed a documentary, in New York City, called
“Crossing the Line: Multiracial Comedians,”
Which includes an interview with Richard Pryor’s daughter, Rain Pryor. This documentary has since been released on PBS.
In 2010, Squishy will begin his National Comedy Tour. Squishy takes on the topics of Healthcare, or lack thereof,
War on Terror, Barack Obama, Racial Issues, Mental Health Issues, Immigration, Hunting & Fishing, Soap Operas, Child Rearing in the New Millennium, and much, much, more...
